We have been waiting to find the right one but we did it. Orginally wanted a Camero but got tired of waiting.

This is my wife's late graduation gift from nursing school. 4 cyc with 6 spd auto (tap shift option). Leather. It has the suncreen and AC outlet in the back seat. Love the color and the ride is amazing.

Got rid of a 2001 Tracker (sun bleached) it wasn't even capable of making it up our drive way in the winter.

Nice site... look forward to reading about everyones Malibu's.

It stickered a bit over 25K. I used my Dad's GMS discount and we off-loaded at beat up 01 Tracker... Right at 24K out the door with Tax, Title and Rust proofing/paint/interior protection pkg added. Other than the 2LT pkg it had the AC outlet and Rear window screen (only one we seen with it).

Just no deals on the 09's yet. The dealers are busy pushing all the 08 Impala's (there are tons of em on every lot I looked at).

How much were the Impalas going for? I was thinking of getting a FlexFuel capable model...

Most were stickered arount 22k, didn't look too close but they did have rebates. Wife waited for a Malibu so that's what we were getting.

Smart choice Jerkyking. I hope that both of you enjoy your new Malibu for years to come.

Thanks...

Heard a commercial today... Employee discount for all and Impalas starting 12,990 (doubt any dealer would have one on their lot at that price).
