anyone come up with a way to improve range of factory remote start??

The gm accessory 2 way remote claims to have better range. I would say to get better range go with a good aftermarket remote start. The regular remote is kinda poor in range compared to some aftermarket systems.

Hold it tightly to your chin when pressing the button. Not sure of the reason but it works better. I've heard that you end up using your head as an antenna. Hey, better that than a hat rack, eh? ;)

I love how people laugh at me when I do this, until you show them and have them try it and they see it actually works. I also have no clue as to why this works but it does.

Without upgrades you can't. It sucks, funny thing is some members on here think the range is good! Not I....

How far away from the car are you? I can start my car from over 150 ft away. I get max range if I just hold my hand up about head high with the remote vertical in my hand.
