Pity the next owner of this car. Probably going to have lots of repair issues, and they're going to think the Malibu is a pile of junk.

And they're going to swear off ever owning another GM.

That's not to say this happens to all rental cars, but it just goes to show you there are a bunch of idiots out there. Lots of other examples on youtube.

What a Hillbilly moron.

It is very unfortunate. I bought my car as a Rental, because at the time, it was just the right price, and I didn't have the patience to put more time into continuing to search.

Knocking on wood, I will say that my Malibu has put on tons of mileage, and been a work horse, and given me very little problems, none really, except for some smaller stuff during the Warranty period. Hopefully it stays that way.

Everyone has an opinion. The guy that took that incriminating video just happens to speak out of his north end while facing south!

And I second the "hillbilly moron" accolade!

Don't think that's how hillbilly's talk. Sounded Northern almost...

But yeah, dumbass.

I bought mine as a rental and haven't had many problems with it. I feel like a got a pretty good deal on a solid car

Doing a burnout shouldn't kill a car, the tires yes, but these Bu's have a rev limiter don't they?

Rental cars do get abused far worse than you or I would treat are cars but one would hope that GM would put the car through a far harsher punishment in development and engineering stages. So what some kid drove it like he stole it, as long as he didn't hit anything the car should be fine, IMHO.

Yes, the guy is an idiot! You would be surprised on many of those idiots work at some of your local Dealerships. I have seen even salesmen step on it coming out of the lots! Ok, maybe not like that!

When I was in my late teens I knew a guy that worked at a dealership, Detailing and doing odds jobs including such things as putting gas in some vehicles at a near by station and have been told many would bet the crap out of some of the cars from point A to Point B!

Again the guys is an idiot and as far as I am concerned, this is a Crime! Beating the hell out of someone’s personal property, no matter if it is a rental or not, this could be one of your guys car!

When I test drive a car I beat the crap out of it, that being said I don't try to break it, but If I'm going to spend the money on a new car I try to find its limits before purchase. this is not including the aftermarket bet, in which I lost.

"What a piece of sh--" he says. Funny, I was thinking the same thing but not about the car.
