I was wondering without a lift or suspention kit, Can I get my car to lean like at a slant, lower in front taller in the back like a nova would, using different tire size (a mustang enthusiast -gramm lol. told me this 20x9 20x10 275/35/20 295/35/20) Am i getting close?

Here is what im working with

What you are referring to is 'rake'. I was normally done with suspension mods not just tire size changes. Not really sure the current Malibu design would look good this way.

Lifting the rear end on RWD allows for larger tires that should have more grip due to a larger contact patch, and it may also allow for a more favorable weight transfer on launch resulting in a lower ET.

Doing it on a FWD might put a little more weight on the fronts, but it doesn't do anything else favorable for launch or ET.

On both types of cars, handling suffers because it raises the CG, especially at the rear where it'll more quickly cause you to spin out.

It's your car, but even on most rice rockets that I've seen with fart fans and/or all the other fads, they don't jack up the rear for rake or looks. A few do, but they look ridiculous.

its not a lift kit but alot of tire places have spacers you can put between the springs they are like $10 a piece and hold good... they crank your car up till the springs stretch then put the spacer in there and then lower ur car back down and then its raised like an inch depending on what size u get. i wouldnt do more than 2 on each side tho

Leave it to Silver LTZ to be blunt haha :D

But I agree, maybe with a 2 door car but not a 4 door family sedan. Buy an older Mustang for a project car! Bet you could get an 80 or 90 something for around $1000 and fix it up! Make that look as muscular as you want

But that's just my opinion

If you were dead set on doing it to the Malibu, just get an Air Ride suspension, you can set each end to how you want it. I'm sure JRAM could let you know a thing or two about an air ride suspension!

WTF:confused:

Dude, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your car is front wheel drive. The taste police will have serious issues with you if you persist in such foolishness.

If you must continue in this vein then riceboy.com is the place for you. Begone!

Just so you know, the numbers you are talking about aren't going to change the stance.

When you read tire size, its goes
265 - Width of the tire
30 - Height of the tire from the edge of the wheel
20 - Rim size.

Changing the first number (or the *x9, *x10) only changes how wide it is, not how high it is going to stand.

Glad that made you laugh. After reading it I laughed too, but instead it was at my typo. I meant fart cans, not fart fans. But I think it's funnier so I'll leave it. :D
