In the image shown below, there is a small round "thing" in the front corner of the front window of my 2005 Malibu LS.

I thought it was some kind of vent at first but I'm really not sure at all what is is now. I only recently bought this car and found these images posted by the previous owner. So, can someone please tell me what this is?

Edit: Oh heck...It's a tweeter isn't it? I thought the malibu had only 4 speakers but I just discovered there is a 6 speaker model so of course that must be it.

You have electric mirrors. Base models may not and those "speaker grills" are the place where the manual mirror lever would have been. Rather than make 2 different mirror (bolt) covers, GM pops in a mini grill.

he is right in his edit those are in fact tweeters that come in some modles my 06 has the same thing which i asked about when i bought it becase the two i looked at first didnt have them congrats you got the 6 speaker system :)
