I purchased my 2010 Malibu back in September. The window sticker and the salesman told me that I have Blue tooth. I could not set it up for some reason. I called the dealership and the sales manager told me that I have Blue tooth and to bring it in and they will set it up for me. I brought it in. After looking at it the sales manager tells me that blue tooth is not an option on my vehicle and that i had purchased it knowing it was not there.
If the sticker is showing that the blue tooth option is factored into the price, shouldn't i be reimbursed?
I have sent made countless calls and sent a plethora of e-mails to both the dealer and GM customer service to no avail.
Should I just take this as a lesson learned or is there anything that I can do?
Thanks,
Brandon

When you go to Chevy's website and select "build your own" it shows "Bluetooth" as standard equipment on the 2LT. Maybe you should bring that to the attention of your dealer? I wonder if there was a mix-up and you ended up with a 1LT? Do you have the 6 way power drivers seat, heated seats, and leather wrapped stearing wheel and shift knob?

I have a 1LT. The blue tooth was an option.

Well, if you feel like it go ahead and pursue it, since that is what you were told at time of purchase AND just recently.
But, you probably have no legal leg to stand on since it's not in writing. It would be nice if you could get the dealership to step up and gain a huge leap in reputation. However, since they're sales people they aren't gonna be worried about improving their rep simply because they and lawyers are always on the bottom of the list of people you can trust.

Would the window sticker stating that it has bluetooth as an option on the vehicel count as 'in writing'?

If the window sticker has under options, bluetooth and a cost next to it that has been added to the base msrp, then YES!

This does not surprise me a bit. I had a local Chevy dealer offer to take seats out of a LTZ to put into a 1LT..... This would effecively screw up two cars original specs.

if you wish to force the issue. since it is on the window sticker and sold as an option any lawyer will tell you that since its in writing it is considered a legal deal and that the dealership will have find a away to fix the issue. since it was a priced out item the dealership should either refund the cost or you could full push the issue and tell them that the old bait and switch happened. and under the sales agreement this is not the car you purchased and you demand a full refund. i would not expect a full refund but if you keep pushing the issue,, plus you can always post the issue on dealerrater.com and let other people know

dealerrater.com ... nice. I will be posting on there soon. I was told that I have bluetooth. After I got home 2 hours later I tried to set it up. It wouldnt even recognize the commands the manual was telling me to say. I called back and spoke with the salesperson confirmed that i have it. He told me to that he would set it up personally in the next day or two...just bring it in.
If there is anyone in the Cincinnati area reading this....Stay away from any 'KERRY' dealership.

Wow, I agree with the previous posts. If you have the window sticker AND your contract says nothing about it being deleted, then ask a lawyer to read it over to make sure you're putting bullets in your gun before you shoot off your mouth. (Disclaimer: that's a metaphor.)
And like another said, demand satisfaction. But if you ask nicely first you may get a whole lot more cooperation and mileage than going in with guns a-blazin'. (Again: a metaphor.)
And a final metaphor: You get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
