I Purchased A Alpine 9886 Radio & Metra Dash Kit For My 2007 Malibu. & A Alpine Four Channel Mini Amp

I Had A Audio Shop Install All Of It...

Next Couple Days Everything Worked Fine.. Then In The Morning I Started The Car And The Radio Wouldn't Power Up.

I Checked Everything Fuses, Battery, Ect...

Every Time I Power Up The Car The Radio Wont Turn On....

Need Some Help :confused:

After the key is on, press the radio's power button. Does that turn it on? If so, you may have blown the memory keep-alive fuse.

It Doesnt Turn On At All

Where Is That Fuse ?

Since it's aftermarket, if it has one at all it'll be inline.

I agree 100%....I'm sure if you call them and tell them , they can either help you over the phone of if you are not far from them they will have you come back so they can fix it.
Most shops don't want a bad reputation going out on the streets...call them up!

Ive Already Had It Uninstalled And Re Installed Once... Alot Of $$$

The only thing I can think of to try is to see if there is a protection mode that it may have went into. I know some HU have this incase of a short at one of the speakers or elsewhere. It may be worth going through the owners manual to see if something like this exists and try to reset it. My buddy had something like this happen and there was some special way to reset the radio.

*edit* there is a reset button behind the face plate to reset the system in case something happened. It may be worth a shot. Page 8 of the owners manual for a picture.

Today I Took Off The Negative Battery Cable For 10 Mins
& Put It Back On And The Radio Seemed To Work Fine...

If Resetting The System Works... Would I Have To Reset It Everytime The Radio Dosent Turn On ? :confused:
