I want to change the rear brake pads and rotors on my 2004 Malibu. I know that I need to reset the caliper in the piston, but which way do I turn it?
I was planning on buying this tool to press the caliper back in:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/OEM-Rear-disc-brake-cube-for-use-with-3-8-in-drive-tool/_/N-26l5?itemIdentifier=2363&_requestid=1589014
But, do I turn clockwise or counterclockwise?
I have a new Haynes repair manual that isn't worth the paper it's printed on. All it says is "rotate the caliper...". Well, no sh*#, but which way?
Thanks,
SR
