Hi, I was thinking of getting LTZ chrome door handles for my 09 2LT malibu. I wanted to know if the original LTZ door handles are painted chrome or are them polished metal?

I was thinking of buying chrome painted door handle covers on ebay for $20 but not sure of the quality. Here is a link to the auction I was looking at. Anyone ever use these kind of door handle covers? Are they worth it or should I just get real LTZ door handles?

I've had the chrome handles installed on my car since the summer of 09'.... I just noticed a couple weeks ago that the chrome is starting to bubble in some spots on a single cover. The other 3 covers are perfect, but there is one cover that has some air bubbles or something going on. I think that if you have the money, get the chrome door handles that the LTZ's come with... The chrome covers will last you a while, but if you plan on keeping the car for a bit...get the chrome handles!
