I'm not sure how hard it would be to install this on my car? Would it help MPG? Speed? Make the sound better? I need inputs before I buy it, thanks!

My opinion, (based on no information at all), is none of the above.
That has been discussed on here before though. You might find something by doing a search for "intake"......as cold or air would likely get WAY too many hits.
I think the consensus in the other thread was that they come from the factory already equipped with a "cold air" intake.
Take the snorkel off the box get a good drop in cotton filter (K&N or equivalent)...if you can pipe from inside the fender wall to the hole where the snorkel was you would in a since create a poor man's ram air...no reason to over complicate

I have a chrome intake CAI, mine is the new Malibu though.
Its generally the same though. Good quality for what you pay, I mean, you can't expect the world from an intake, a 1-2 hp gain is a real estimate, and a high end one might give you 3. If you want a little more intake noise, and maybe a slight bump up on the butt dyno, this will definitely work, no point dropping hundreds of dollars on some fancy one.
Good luck.
