Okay so here in Massachusetts it's been raining for about 3 days nonstop.. this morning (the first dry morning) I was going out to my car and as I opened the door, a huge splash of water poured onto my leather/suede seats.. it all hid up in the door or something.. and because I'm so stupid once I arrived at school I opened the back door to get my bag and the same thing happened again! Is there any way to prevent this from happening? It never happened on my crappy Cobalt and I don't think it should happen on a £215,000 Malibu. Thanks thanks thanks thank you gracias danke thanks peace out

Hmm...given that I can't recall opening one of our Malibu doors when drenched, other than getting a dribble or two on the seat edge, I don't know.
It all depends on the design of the roof and top of the doors/sheetmetal/molding, but I'm curious to see what others chime in with.

I will keep an eye out to see if that happens on mine, we are supposed to get rain tomorrow

It happened to me once, but only once. I thought at first that the car lacked roof gutters, but they're there. I'm not really sure what caused it though, because I've been in plenty more rainstorms since then and it hasn't repeated.
£215,000 Malibu.
is that in british pounds? you might've overpaid :)

Haha I just wanted to give it a much deserved price increase.
