If you are having issues with "searches" try Google.
If you have a scratch, try wax and a scratch remover. If they are through the paint you are pretty much out of luck though.

If you have a scratch, try wax and a scratch remover.

If what you are seeing is abrasions to the clear coar.......that is, it's only noticeable in a certain light at a certain viewing angle and looks kind of like strands of spiders web......then a good paste wax should take care of it.

If it is through the clear coar and into the paint, then maybe some white rubbing compound followed by wax.

If it is through the paint, I'd be quizzing the place that does the washing.

Any feral cats in your neighborhood ?? ;)

Not likely that wax will remove scratches.

If it looks like spider webs in the clear coat you can use a swirl remover. If it looks worse but is still in the clear coat you can use a scratch remover. After using either one THEN use the wax.

If the scratch(es) get into the color then take it back to the place that did the damage. It was definitely caused by someone other than you if it didn't have one before they washed it. Problem is you'll have to prove it.

Something to consider: Scratch removers and swirl removers remove a very small amount of the clear coat in order to smooth it out again. If the scratch is as deep as the color then no amount of scratch remover will make it right. It might look better but it won't be right. The new base-coat-color and top-coat-clear paint jobs use a non-glossy color coat and then make the shine with the clear. If the clear is missing you'll have a dull color showing through, and that's the whole issue (if it's showing).

I got all the searches out today with 3m rubbing compound then used turtle wax polishing compound and then used Turtle wax to seal everything up. It work all the spider web searches. are gone. Now on will not let the dealership wash my car any more.

@Malibu25, I apologize that you had a less than satisfied experience with your vehicle getting washed at the dealership. I am glad that you are getting this taken care.

Did you happen to contact the dealership about these?

Did not contact the dealership no point if you wash your car at one of those automatic car wash places you are going get swirl marks and scratches.

Malibu25,
I don't know if you've caught on or not, but where you're using "searches" you should be using "scratches".
