Hi, I am PM you as a last resort. I have a 2013 chevy malibu. There is a smell of coolent or oil from the heater. The fumes from the vents are really bad, we have to drive the car with the windows down. I have been to the dealer with the problem at least 5 times. They say they cannot find any smell. The sales person recommended to my wife that we should not turn the heater higher than 73 deg F and press auto but we still get the smell. The factory warranty is still valid but the dealer doesn't seem to be willing or able to find the problem. I have read some posts describing a smell from the heater on this forum and the cause seems to be grease for lubicating the various doors and flaps in the heater box. I mentioned this to the service manager at the dealership but he dismisses it as being not realible because I saw it on the internet. we are worried about the affect of these fumes on our health. If there is any advice you could give me I would be sincerely grateful.
    Thank you
    Dan

I am having an an issue with the steering on my 2014 Malibu. On straight highway at 60-70 mph there is a sticky spot in the steering and I am constantly fighting to keep it straight. I have taken it to Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in Ft Worth twice and they say they can't duplicate problem and send me on my way. Can you help me?

Thank you very much, they are already working on it in GM - Jordan - Arabia which are licensed from GM UAE, how ever the car has been there for about 10 days now without knowing what is the cause of this issue, i have bought Generator control module (bought from ebay) yesterday and gave it to them to test on it, so waiting on an answer from them, issue is if possible to give me a link to where i purchase original New GM parts from USA , i would be greatful, as i was told the issue would be between alternator or generator module or wiring, in which i m will to purchase also to solve this issue if necessarily.

    Thanks once again

We recognize you've encountered trouble with the battery charging system in your Malibu and unfortunately we're unable to technically advise towards a fix. GM Arabia is in a better position to address this matter and can be contacted at 9714-314-3408.

Hi, We had 2 Chevy Malibu ECO 2013 cars and today we received the third car that have the same issue : Service Battery Charging System, 1 of these cars is in GM Dealers in Amman, Jordan, can you please advise what could have caused this issue? GM checked the history of the car and said that the generator control module have been checked in USA Chevy.

But as we have 3 cars with same issue we would want to solve this matter asap if possible, we would be happy to buy the related parts also, as GM here still can find out the issue.

    Looking forward for help.

    Thank you.
