Sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with your catalytic converter. If you can provide me with your VIN and mileage, I can check into your vehicle warranties for you to verify whether or not this component will be covered.
Hello, I have a 2008 Malibu with a clogged catalytic converter, and after reading some of the posts, it looks like my car might be covered under a special 10 year/120,000 mile warranty for it? I was wondering what I can do to find out whether or not it is. Thanks! Jack
Bought this 2010 Malibu LTZ about 4 months ago, has about 40,000 Miles, about 1 month ago the passenger side low beem burned out, I took off the whole bumper etc and replaced it. Then about 10 days later the new bulb burned out again. Same side. No idea what the issue is, I dont want to just take it all apart and replace yet another $17 light that will possibly just burn out again. Any ideas what else could be causing this to burn out constantly?
Any ideas to check would be greatly appreciated.
Would the last 8 of the vin let you check on warranty status?
Our Malibu was built in Sep 2012. The car passed the screening process back in June 2013. We have about 8300 miles on the car. The last 6 digits of the VIN is 169404. I'm a little concern that the GCM module could still be bad. Back in June I contacted Customer Service about the issue and Chavolet refused to replace the GCM module. This is the only problem that I have it with the car.
I'm bought Malibu 2012, since first day I'm hear knock in front suspension. My dealer says it is normal for this model, but I don't trust them. My VIN is KL1GA69U9CB012485, do you have any TSB for this model related to front suspension?
