Well the computer that is in the car has four usb ports on it but I made one of them more accessible via the dongle in the cup holder..........:) The red button where the usb dongle is located is the power button to turn the carputer on. The wireless receiver for the keyboard is connected to one of the other usb ports directly in the computer itself. I mainly use it for entertainment such as music, movie and tv watching via slingplayer. When I get sometime this summer I'm going to finally setup a wireless OBD reader and application to it so I can keep tabs of the Bu as well. I might wipe off XP from there and put Win7 or 8 on there. We'll see!

Holy cow, that's awesome! Did you jailbreak/crack the head unit to run Windows or is that native?? If I had a choice in the matter I'd probably run Linux just for stability reasons but it's not as programs user friendly. It looks like you installed a USB port in the cup holder too, is that where you connect the dongle for the wireless keyboard? What exactly are you using this application for in your vehicle? (Wireless internet, movies, all the above? etc...)

Sorry for all the questions I just think this is really "cool and clever"!!

Hey, was curious what the "Custom car computer setup" in your signature is all about?

Any threads you've posted with relevant info I'd be interested in getting linked too. I'm curious by nature!

    Thanks,
