Hi junglomalibu! We're sorry to learn of the concerns with your brakes. Your vehicle is listed for the BRAKE LAMP MALFUNCTION recall. Please contact GM Canada at 800-521-7300 as they are in the best position to set up a plan of action to have your recall concerns addressed. If you'd like for us to contact them on your behalf, please also provide your full contact information and address.

    Thank you,
    Amber N.

The last 8 digits of my VIN are 6F252454, I have recall 2013036. I am currently having brake problems appears rotors may be warped (uneven wear) and shaking of the steering especially when going downhill while breaking. Also getting some rhythmic scraping type sound when breaking at slow speed.

Relative to my '08 Malibu (LT2), apparently the tire pressure sensor in one wheel is 'going bad'. (Intermittent DIC 'notification' of "no pressure in this specific tire". All tire pressures are good though when checked with a tire pressure gauge.)

Is it recommended that (as a fix / repair) the sensors in ALL wheels be replaced, instead of replacing only the offending wheel?

My car has almost 83,000 miles on the odometer, is in great condition, and I plan to drive it for many more miles.

Added a post in the Malibu USB port thread. Was wondering if anyone was checking for an answer on what the port voltage/amp output was. Thanks!

HI- I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu. yesterday while I was driving, the doors just unlocked. Even when the car was parked & shut off- you could still hear the car trying to unlock itself. How do I make this stop? Last night I had to take the fuse out so I was able to have my car locked overnight.

    Hi vegasmalibuPL6H0,

In order to locate the RPO codes for these model year vehicles, we will need a vehicle identification number. If you have a VIN that we can reference, we'd be more than happy to forward you the RPO codes. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Hi there Amber,

I am getting ready to buy my next Malibu, but I have one issue. I am trying to find the PDF files of the 08, 09, and 10 Malibu RPO codes. I have the 2011 and 2012 copies from the online order guide site, but can't seem to get the three years that i'm missing. Can you help me out with this if possible?
