I like this. If you have installed it, what was your experience? How was the color match (the photo looks slightly dull to my eye, relative to the factory decklid finish.) Also, how much rear visibility is blocked by this spoiler?
For a wing-type design, I still prefer this one from the concept car. It's lower profile because of how it's bolted to the car, so it wont obscure rear visibility. I like the lip spoiler available from dealers the most though.
Now that some time has past I don't care for the spoiler I posted as much. Still can't stand the one cp-the-nerd posted and the Chevy one ain't too bad.
Does anyone have more info on the blue concept car? Like the name of the color, spoiler, and side skirts, front view? I think i'd get my car painted that color.
It probably won't, and it will probably make the back dirtier.
A spoiler acts as an upside-down wing, providing a down-force instead of lift. That means it creates a lower pressure below and behind it, and since there's nothing behind it the low pressure will be around the trunk of your car.
A low pressure area is like turning on a vacuum - it'll attract more dirt rather than prevent it.
