There are cheaper ones. I bought one off amazon 59 bucks. It came broke so I returned it quality wasn't that good. And the light wasn't that bright at night. I think the expensive one is the way to go unless u make it like the guy claims he did in his video

I was going to remove the bow tie on my trunk.It sticks on but there is at least one hole all ready there.When I get a new car the first thing I do is to take off all writting and emblems.

We had those on the Corvette forum a long time ago, which is (my guess) where they got the idea from. We had the lights just going through behind the flags to small and thin wires right behind the emblem that were molded to the edges. Made it look decent.

You'll never get a bowtie that lights up in the center though. We've been looking for a way over there for a very very long time. Nobody makes any, so if you want it you'll have to literally build your own thing.

Here's a couple that lights up i the middle if this is what you mean. Personally, I don't like them.
