jhawker23 CMF Rookie Member 2008 Malibu 1LT White Join Date: Nov 2012 Posts: 1 Gallery: 0	Coaxials in front with stock h/u? '08 Please help, has anyone replaced the component fronts with coaxials? The key is keeping the stock h/u. I'm making an assumption that the lines in to each speaker have already been through an active crossover. From what I've read, replacing the tweets can be quite a job and all I want is a relatively simple upgrade in sound. Thanks! Last edited by jhawker23; 11-17-2012 at 07:15 AM.

Can't directly answer your question, but the tweeters in the Gen7 (2008-2012) are in the A-pillar trim. Easy to unsnap and service.
