My step daughter has an 09 Accord sedan and I agree the Malibu is much quieter than it. The Accord seems much larger though and is why my step daughter picked it.

The accord is much larger and now gets upper 30s mpg. But you will pay $5000 more than the malibu. Of course it doesn't hurt that the new malibu reminds me of the 2010 camaro I use to own.
