Default Heated Seat Module Light

Is the passenger side heated seat module supposed to light up like the driver side does? I don't mean the LEd for position 1 and 2, I mean the writing that is on the module.

Yes. The back illumination is identical to the driver side.

Thanks. So that being said is there a bulb within the module or do you have to replace the entire thing?

@familyman, if you would like to send me a PM with the VIN of your Malibu, I would be happy to see if I can get this information for you.

My driver side one has been burnt out since I bought it a year ago. I didnt even realize it was supposed to be lit untill i notice the passenger side lit up one day. I think I will just get a switch off of ebay to replace it.

On a side note...Does anyone know if setting "1" is high or low? I dont have a manual lol.
