What does this mean for 1997Malibu, and what does it mean for all of our members?

They do it in hopes that you use the same password for online banking, shopping etc.

If you want this issue solved all the admin of this site has to do is check his DNS servers to make sure some third party has not installed malware on here . Because how people hack sites is they will install malware on it to try to fish passwords if an admin can run or ask who ever is hosting this forum to do a quick scan of their servers you might find it . What happens is someone might post a pic but the code used isn't right and that's how it gets installed because it goes through a server undetected until you have password problems .

This info is very well correct. I will have my team run a report on the site to check.

FOR ALL MEMBERS, if any sort of pop up that may seem like the forum board asking you to re-log back in when you click on a thread or ask to confirm your password, please do not complete the process and log out. Clear cache and report it to me.
