Default Malibu, how I missed you.

As many of you older guys might have saw in the past, I used to have a 2009 Malibu LS with a extreme system in it that basically ruined the car going back to stock. "not doing that again".

I traded it for my 2000 Ford Excursion that's lifted on 38s I then got a Yamaha r6 to deal with the gas issue the Excursion would make.

To make a long story short I sold my r6 because I'd still like to be alive in a few years and I then needed another DD. My excursion is a project car similar to how my Malibu was when I had it. This time around I will be keeping my Malibu CLEAN, and simplified. Might do some rims and a tiny system but nothing intense by any means.

I missed my bu

Here are some shots of the 2010 Malibu LT I am getting transferred over to my city. Flawless inside and out and it has the 1 thing I truly wanted in my first malibu Some blacked out interior lol.

It was a rental so it has highway miles and all that and it was maintained well. 60k on the odometer and it's a 2010 so it was driven pretty good but that's fine with me.

Here are some pics of her

Hello again to all my old Malibu friends!

Welcome back!! Definately mod the DD but keep the BIG ideas for the project cars My current Malibu was a rental as well(only 28000 miles before I got it) and my very first Malibu(1998) was a rental. Only downside to rentals is they tend to have some scratches on the trim panels at times.

Yes, I too have a 2012 LT originally from Enterprise rent-a-car. Got it three months ago with 17K on the odometer. You are exactly right on the scratches - two on the outside and one in the interior. Already fixed by me as good as I could.

Our '11 is an ex-Enterprise rental as well. Curb rash on a couple of the wheels, and the steering column plastic is scratched up where they tried to put the keys in where they don't belong. People renting it were obviously used to putting the keys in the column rather than the dash! Oh yeah, the steering wheel is worn where your leg hits it when you slide in too. No big deal, going to replace it with a leather-wrapped eventually anyway.

Our Grand Caravan is also an ex-rental and it's been real good to us. My parents have bought ex-rentals for years and rarely have any troubles.
