Door locks

I am having problems with my door locks. when i press the unlock on the fob some of the door may or may not unlock. one time the driver side door will unlock but the passanger side will not. the next time it could be the oppisite. it seems like its just random for every door on the car. it is the same way when trying to lock the car too. it does the same thing when i manually press the lock unlock on the car itself. its really starting to get old. i hope sombody on here could give me some ideas. 2008 malibu ls

Just a thought - Maybe try to reprogram the locks through the DIC and see what happens?

Your door lock actuators have a fatal design flaw & are becoming intermittent. Very common issue on these cars. Dealer will charge $250 plus per door to replace them. Some people have gone through GM customer service & made "deals" for a reduced cost since it is such a common issue. There is also an inexpensive aftermarket fix if you're a DIYer:

It is definitely the actuators issue which is very common issue for this car. Search the threads you will find it

thanks for the information! i will be doing this soon. the dealer gave me a price of 325 bucks per door!!!

On my 08 3 doors locks went out just past warranty...at 71 000 kilometers. Very poof design.
My 87 mustang locks still work
