Ok so i just found out that i have cords showing on tires and i have belts broken in my tires.

Anyone know of any good deals on a set of rubber????

Depends on what type of tire you are looking for... You can find them for as low as $75 each if you want something just to get by.

I put on a set of 80k tires for $530 out the door a couple months ago.

What are you looking for in a tire? Quiet? Performance? Gas mileage?

You want cheap? Purchase the OE Goodyear Eagle LS2s or Hankook h426s.

You want great tires? Michelin Hydroedge are on clearance (still higher price than the OE tires). They are exceptional all season tires, especially in adverse conditions. They also have a 100k warranty if I remember correctly.

I just replaced the crap OE firestones with Michelin Primacy MXV4's a few weeks ago.
The Michelin's are quieter, grip a lot better and better ride.

MXV4s are a very good fit for the 4-cylinder Malibu, they are a little on the pricey side, but I would say it's worth it. I'm getting a set of MXM4s soon. They offer better performance and quieter ride than MXV4s but cost even more and have a shorter tread life warranty.
