Alarm goes off when trying to start car
I really need help because I'm stranded about 2 hours from home.
While driving on the highway, I got a flat. Had to get the car towed to a shop. After the car was towed, I went into the car to gather some things. Got out of the car and closed the door (I had the key in my hand). A few seconds later I noticed my horn gave a short beep. I found it strange because that had never happened before.
Next time I get into the car, I put the key into the ignition and turn the key like normal but the alarm sounded. Turned the key to the off position and the alarm shut off. Every time I put the key in the on position, the alarm sounds! Good thing is that the alarm shuts off when i turn the key to the off position.
I've tried everything.
