My daughter bought a 2012 Cruze after the Lehigh Valley Auto Show a few weeks ago. My wife saw the Malibu in the showroom then and bought it a few days later.
Probably just the angle the picture was taken at, but it looks like that Bu' has a ground kit....I like it!
Congrats on your new purchase!

That is how the 2013 model comes standard. Chevy re-designed the body. That is what really caught our attention; the front end and the tail lights. It is a really cool car. We have every option; ECO 2SA leather, sunroof, navigation, backup camera, that is available on the 2013 to date. It doesn't have blind side assist, push button start and stop and LED lights in the mirrors but I believe those things will be available later in the year when they release some of the other engine and option packages.
Any idea how to buy these mirrors and grille insert? They were on the display 2013 Malibu at the 2011 NY Auto Show.
That is a very good question. I would think that GM Accessories Zone would have them. However, when I visited gmaccessorieszone.com I could only view items for the 2012 model year.
I would think that the parts department might have things like this, but it might not be until later this year.
I will be happy to provide more details about this when I get the information. Please, feel free to check back with me as often as you would like for updates.
I found that I can get an 84 mo./84,000 mile $0 deduct. Major Guard for about $1700. Since the mileage and time clock doesn't start until I purchase the protection plan and new car pricing can be had until 12,000 miles, I am going to purchase the protection at around 11,000 miles so that it will effectively give me coverage until 95,000 miles.
I'm now at 11,000 miles and am debating whether I should or shouldn't get the extended warranty...any thoughts?

This may be an investment. I would suggest going for it if you feel you need extra peace of mind. The GMPP major guard covers virtually every component of the vehicle.
