Speaker sizes in 2013

Anyone know off hand the speakers sizes on the 2013's and also which do they classify as the subwoofer on the 9 speaker pioneer system?Also will upgrading the speakers and adding a powered sub void my bumper to bumper warranty?

Yea, I mean theres only maybe 100 people with a new Malibu on this forum, 15 are active and I doubt any have torn into their brand new cars to replace the speakers yet.

Try crutchfield, the have a speaker fitment guide that may help you.

Yea checked crutchfield there not up on it yet either.....looks like I'll be the first but wouldn't be the first time,had my 2011 sierra like 3 days before i tore into that one.Just wish Chevy would have stayed with the Bose systems.

let me know what you find ive been thinking about replacing the front doors and pillars, im hoping they are 6.5 in the doors, i loved my mm6501's..... i dont care about the backs, no one sits back there

Ok will let everyone know and post pics of them when i do.So far it looks like either late Friday or Saturday I'll get into it.Did find some pics of the stock replacements on a web site somewhere but was really much help.The door ones look like either 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 round molded into some kinda of weird plastic retainer thing like they were on my sierra.Still a tos up what i want to use as replacements leaning toward either polk or a nice set of pioneers to try and stay with the stock kinda thing just upgraded.

Yea it is a shame but if you want to play you will have to pay...i just wish they would have stuck with the Bose system it blew the pioneer away in sound quality,base response and loudness.
