I did follow the procedure in the manual to test which tires were synched with the monitoring system -FL sensor was not working. Miguel at Harbor Chevrolet assured me that it was *not* a safety issue to drive. As it is a warranty issue, to bring it in when I have other warranty-related service to handle and roll this under the same deductible. I appreciate the feedback here. The assumption in the thread that I am a dude was pretty typical. Why shouldn't a woman be involved in the care and safety of her own car? Just saying

Yep back in the olden days (after dinosaurs but before the iphone) we didn't have fancy gadgets to automatically tell us that our tire pressure was low. We had to get out of the car and put one of those tire pressure guages on it.
So yea it shouldn't be dangerous to drive like that.

The more techno stuff that goes into these new cars have people relying on it more and more.There are still some basics your should check tires,oil,anti freeze,brake fluid.Nothing still beats the human element in some things.

There are a lot men who seem as dumb as stones when it comes to the so called high tech cars. It is amazing the dumb stuff they do and say.

I'll say it, you go girl, knowledge is key to your safety and not being ripped off by a service dept. or garage.
Very few woman have or desire the knowledge of how their vehicle works so don't be offended if we goof up, no offense intended.
Everyone here started out knowing nothing at one time and even the most seasoned tech, DIY'er, etc. learns something new everyday.
