Good idea! I like your sound insulation around the speakers too, thanks for the input. In relation to the wiring harness', are you referencing the speakers?
Good to know. I saw the print date on these were from 2010 so either they didn't exist then or they just weren't extended to Crutchfield at the time. Either way, I personally would be willing to spend the extra money for the harnesses just to keep the install clean, and as you stated above, easy to remove for any reason.
I have lost sound to my right rear speaker. and the left rear speaker goes in and out.
I replace the factory speakers with kickers. Best buy said they are not blown but wouldnt tell me the problem since they did not install them.
I cant remember if I had to splice any wires to fit the connectors? Is there a wiring harness kit I need to swap out? OR IS there something on top of the rear deck? It looks like there are no wires or connections besides to the back of the speaker. I'm just trying to figure out why there is no sound back there??
If I buy 2 6X9 rear speakers for the 2010 Malibu LS, how long can I have these installed if I do them myself? Do I need anything extra besides what comes in the box?
