I have 2010 Chevy Malibu LT. The issue I am having is the heat goes in and out. Seem that sometimes I start the it will get hot others it stays cold. Also seems to happen more frequent on colder days. I changed the thermostat didnt solve the problem.
No, it does not. The actuators are pretty easy to replace.
When you rotate the temp knob from one extreme to the other can you hear the actuator motor operating? Get your ear up close to the HVAC box. You can both hear & feel the actuator motors when they run.
Michael s, I'm happy to see the forum has been assisting you! As a Customer Service representative, I can't provide much in the way of DIY advice; however, I'm happy to locate the dealers in your area if you wish (or contact your dealer at any point in the process). Please send us a private message anytime for further assistance.
