For reasons I won't mention publicly on this site, I will be making the logical switch from all SKARbage audio to all Crescendo Audio.
12-(8")Neo Forte mids
8-FT1 tweets
3-Symphony 800.4's
The tweets and amp inserts will be custom matched to the plasti dip paint scheme of the car and the car will be undergoing a bag setup shortly after audio revamp and paint.
The setup will be run active on a Pioneer DEH80prs and should sound amazing! Dropping the car off with Epicenter Designs(who also did all the fiberglassing in the malibu) at Crescendo HQ this week to do some minor mods to fit all the new tweets and amps and within a week or 2 it should be playing!
So siked to finally have some real equipment in this malibu!
Stay tuned!
Some of the Crescendo Neo Forte mids that will be going in the Malibu. The quality on these things completely destroys my old SKAR Pax8s. That and these Symphony amps are microscopic! It's crazy how much power these little midgets pack lol
Crescendo is one of the better companies out there.. The only problem is they can't keep up with demand sometimes.. Good problem to have as a company but bad when you can't fill all the orders.
When did the neo forte come out? I haven't seen much on them. Sound/price better than the pwx?
"Only available to a few promotional cars" how the hell do you rate to get in on those?! Hahaha jk.
Shit looks sexy bro. Not a fan of that front super tweet being partially covered on your doors, but other than that epicenter did a sweet job once again.
my old tweets were way smaller so it had to be cut to fit on the panel or the whole door would've needed to be redone lol. So I said cut away. When I paint them it won't be as noticeable
Got some nendo installed in Garrett's jeep for jeep beach this weekend so I got to see the whip in person since the doors were all loaded. It looks sexyyyyy
Also heard some Neo Forte 6.5s all the way home in the jeep and they sound AMAZING. Can't wait to hear mine
wouldn't know yet haha I haven't had the car back in 2 months. Been piecing together my bag setup so it's been under the knife a while. I'm going to finish it on the weekend of the 23rd though I can let you know then haha
Universal lip kits that are super HQ compared to any I've seen. Really nice rubber instead of crappy mush foam. The whole kit sells for 120$ and it comes with self tapping screws and washers as well.

ya bro no worries at all I know you weren't. It's just funny because he always catches heat on his instagram with people chiming in on how you can get the "exact same thing" from home depot for 18$ when it's not the case at all lol
It's been a LONG time coming. But Epicenterdesigns and I finally put the Malibu under the knife! It's not done and there are still a lot of things to clean up for the finished install but we got a good chunk finished this weekend. Epicenter should be wrapping it up today!
Also a huge thanks to Jared Morgan for his strut bags, rear control arms, and multiple other goodies that made this thing come together!
Here it is!
Now to some install pics
Front UAS Aerosport bags on Saab 9-3 struts with 3/8" Airline ran
In the rear we didn't use bag brackets to allow an extra 1"+ to the drop. Took a good deal of cutting but it will be well worth it. The cuts aren't finished as we will be cleaning it up a bit and adding airline safety precautions
