How big is the fuel tank? Everywhere I read says 16.9gal but I just went to the gas station and put 17.3 in and the fuel light was not on yet I would say it had about 10 miles to go before the light came on

On a gen 8 malibu? SI lists it as 15.8 gallons and when the vehicles without eAssist come out in LT or LTZ trim the tank will be 18.5 gallons.
