Here is my 09 Malibu LTZ. So far I have added a trunk spoiler lip and a lower grille insert. I got a peice of grille insert that resembled the stock silver grille. I pulled the black plastic insert that is was in the area and fabricated the grille in the area. I still need to get some chrome to run around the lip area to match the upper grilles. The pictures dont really dont really do it justce but it looks much better. I may spray it a darker matte silver to match the upper grilles a little better. I got GM mudflaps to install still and a set of G6 18" 5 spoke wheels to put on, just have to get my tires moved over, lastly 35% window tint all the way around and I should be done.
Just be careful since you're in Virginia a front plate is required and also front windows are supposed to only be up to 50% tint legally.
Agreed. Nice looking Malibu, but be careful about the front plate. I don't know where in VA you are, but here in Hampton Roads and in the Norfolk area they're relentless. They are very heavy on ticketing for anything and everything (luckily I only have one for minor speeding, I hear and see all this from everyone else).
Yeah I am in Richmond and so far have only been ticketed once, on the way to buy the Malibu believe it or not. I got this Malibu used from First Team Honda down in Chesepeake back in March. Traded in an Impala SS for it, didnt have a front plate on the Impala and got the ticket on I64 on the way to the dealership. Yeah I wish VA would do away with the front plates. Every vehicle I have owned I removed them. This Malibu actually didnt even have the front plate bracket they just had the plate screwed to the bumper so I would get the bracket to make it right if I was going to put the plate on. Thanks for the complements, if any of you guys in the area wanna buy the 18" wheels I am trying to sell them. Getting the rubber moved over to a new set of wheels.
