Just wondering if there is a way to remove the Ipod hook up from the radio face to inside the dash? I'm tired of the cable always hanging from my radio. I was trying to see if someone has already done this. I am going to attempt but wanted to try and grab some input first. My plan of attack is going to be popping the dash open, and trying to unclip the plug, and then use the factory rubber plug to close up the hole, then just hook the cable up and tape it inside the dash.
Instead of moving the jack, try a flash drive with your music on it. You can find them extremely small so they dont stick out very much at all. Depending on how many GB you want, you can find them under 20 bucks.

You could go to your Local Chevy Dealer and price out the Personal Audio Link (PAL). It basically allows you to store your IPOD in your glove box, and it would charge your IPOD as long as it was not the 5 Volt charging IPOD that requires additional power (most new IPODS have a 12 V charging system) It was a extra option with our LTZ's, however I am not sure if the dealer can add it after the fact. Worth a shot if you ask me. I might do it, if they can't figure out why my USB port keeps kicking my IPOD off the head unit.

@Johndoe that is awesome. I couldn't get the flashdrive to work this seems like the best solution. You don't have and pictures or a write up on the process do you?
