I was given a 2000 malibu from my best friends parents (my friend killed himself) and i would like to have it in pristine condition. A hood and a right side (passenger) fender would make most of the exterior complete. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Do you mean the passenger left fender? That would make it the left rear. The "passenger" designation usually refers to the right side of the car, since the driver sits on the left side. If you're trying to tells us you need one for the passenger side front, that is the right fender. You indicate left or right based on sitting in the car, not standing in front of it.
A suggestion would be to check out various junk yards. Also check with body shops. If you're not worried about getting GM OE parts then they might be able to hook you up with third party stuff. It's sometimes considered inferior to use non-OE but if you're doing the work you should be able to overcome the shortcomings.

that was a mistype, i am refering to the right side fender, and i know i can go to the junk yards, i was checking on here to see if i could pick these parts up cheaper
(and i know how to determine which side of the car is which, i just made an error, but thank you)
We're cool, man. Hope ya find your parts. When you get your project started, and then after finishing, and maybe even during, stop by with some pics. We love "looking over your shoulder", so to speak. Oh, and don't forget to update us with where/how you find your parts (that is, if one of our members doesn't pop up and offer some).

Well good luck with the engine work, and if you decide to sell the parts, let me know what price you are looking for, I also have a lot of engine parts that I could get rid of if you are interested
