Default 2011 Chevrolet MaLibu 1LS Exhaust camshaft Actuator Solenoid

Hi, I am looking for the location of the Exhaust Camshaft Solenoid on a 2011 Chevrolet MaLibu 1LS any help on how to replace this part or pictures would be very appreciated. Thanks. Bill

Try the dealership - the car should still be under warranty. Doing it yourself will result in a cost to you in time and parts, whereas having the dealership do it is free (except for the gas to drive it there).

not under warranty car has over 30,000 miles

B2B is 3 years / 36,000 miles. Powertrain is longer than that. Call the dealer first is my suggestion.

Unless the car has been salvaged, i.e. reclaimed from being totaled.

Same thing happened to me just about a week ago. See my thread and what was posted. My car has 48k and it does appear on my invoice it was a free fix by GM because it was under the 5/yr100k warranty. My deductible I paid for the front end noise which is still there.
