Hey guys, I have spent a little time looking around under the hood and can't see any obvious parts that retain the engine cover. Can anyone give me a hint on the removal of the 2.4L engine cover. Thanks in advance.

there is also a hose clamp that is holding the cover on the throttle body because the cover is part of the intake, they still pull right off but i had to loosen mine up before it would go back on

I tore up my seal that connects the intake cover to the throttle body on my 2.4L 2009 Malibu. GM does not sell the seal separately and I would need to buy the whole cover for $217. Does anyone have one they can sell me? I would imagine that if you went to a CAI, then your OEM cover (with the seal) is just sitting around collecting dust.

Do you have a part # for the seal? Try looking at RockAuto and you might find something there.
