Default Body Control Module Location

Hi, could anyone tell me the location of the body controller module location, been having tail light issues and have traced to the problem must be the BCM but I have no clue where it is, I am guessing within the dash but I have no idea and rather not tear the interior apart tracing the tail light wiring to the front. Thank y'all and glad to have found this malibu forum.

Try the passenger side, near the blower motor. See http://cid-54465800aad91b49.office.l...b/98B02014.GIF.

The BCM is on the RH console as shown. Its the inside fuse box.

Glen, check fuse 47 in the underhood fuse box. The BCM may be at fault, but a new BCM will have to be programmed by a dealer, in the vehicle.

Umm, that looks like for the current generation Malibu. Glen's is 1999. Thanks for the picture, though (I collect these things).

It's the Office feature (what used to be SkyDrive) of Live Hotmail. I just created a pub folder visible by everyone and then uploaded files temporarily.
