Default Where is the camshaft postion sensor on a 2009 Malibu

Hello everyone,
I Have an issue with my camshaft position sensor on my 2009 Malibu. Its the 2.4 Liter engine and I have 75000 miles on it. Can replace this sensor myself and where would it be located. Any help would be appreciated.

There's two, one for the intake, one for the exhaust, front of the engine, side of the cylinder head, one on each side. Probably have to pop off the engine plastic cover to see them but real easy to replace. Disconnect the connector, one bolt I think and pull it straight out. Reverse the procedure to install, bolt torque spec is 89 in. lb.

How would I pop off the engine plastic cover? Are there any bolts do I just pull it off?

Thanks for the info

Take the air intake hose off at the filter housing, looking in from the drivers side and at the front of the cover look down towards the throttle body, you'll see a worm style clamp where the plastic housing sits on the throttle body, loosen the clamp. Take off the oil fill cap and lift the plastic housing straight up.

That's for the 4-cylinder.

For the V6, remove the oil cap, lift cover by unsnapping it.

Just adding info for others who might come along in the future, although it isn't tough to figure out by themselves.
