Trifecta Elite vs Advantage?

I am looking to purchase the Trifecta tune for my 2016 Malibu premier. I will also be purchasing a CAI (brand is up in the air at this point (K&n vs AEM). I was wondering if anyone thinks the Elite for almost double the price is worth it over the advantage. I may do an exhaust mod down the road but only if a down pipe comes on the market besides that mufflers may just be changed out. Thanks in advance. Have a great week.

ZZP has a downpipe for the FWD malibu. I would call Trifecta and ask about the gains a custom tune will give you.

You know, the CAI is wasted money nowadays as pretty much every OEM intake is a better a pulling in cold air than the aftermarket stuff does. Pretty much wasted money unless you have a huge desire for the noise The intake will now make.

With that said, what are your thoughts on this?

Anything pre-turbo is a draw. Its not really going to increase HP but will make the turbo more evident in the cabin. In my opinion, real gains could be had looking at aftermarket intercoolers or intercooler piping. Not aware of any offerings for the Malibu though.

Go Elite since you're looking at an ongoing project. The cost difference is a drop in the bucket as far as car modding goes, it'll be worth it.

Your best bet is a tune, anything else is a drip in the bucket of potential.
