Im a fan, doubt it would be negative considering it was an option you could order.

There's no negative effect unless you make it sound like a Honda fart can.

What muffler did you go with? Looking for ideas for mine.

No muffler actually, but that might change once I get my catless downpipe.

Nice! Was thinking of going no muffler as well just wasn't sure how it would sound. Any complaints?

No not really, it isn't very loud, but good enough to hear in and out of car a little bit. It still sounds a bit like any 4cyl might, but not like Honda fart can really. If I do get the downpipe I might end up redoing the whole exhaust in a different size piping so we'll see.

Sounds good! I'm definitely going dual after I get my AEM intake next week.

I just completed a dual conversion on my 2017 1.5l Malibu. I ordered the lower rear valance for the premier model and heat shields (which are very pricey) !
My local muffler shop added a Y tube and stock mufflers.
Looks great !! I'll post pics later.

If you can, get some videos for the sake of sound bites, too. One before while in the driveway, one before while driving & accelerating, one after in the driveway, one after while driving & accelerating.

That would be cool as it will give everyone an idea by being able to compare.

If all you can or choose to do is images, that's okay, too. No obligation.
