Console cup holder removal

A lot of lemonade was spilled in the console cup holder and I believe that some of the liquid got under the cup holder. I have cleaned everything up that I can see, but there is still a smell. Can I pop the console cup holder out to clean underneath?

Thanks for any help.

Yes. Lift out the little divider between it and the armrest lid, then lift the rear and it comes out. It snaps in, so it also has to snap out.

Re: Console cup holder removal

I would think lemonade would be one of the better smells in a car.

But yes, as Driven said, it's very easy to remove. You can basically just lift it out. It's good for giving the cup holder itself a nice cleaning under the faucet as well every so often.
