Front Jacking Points, Crumpled Torque Box

I've got a 2009 Malibu LTZ and found floor jack damage to the front, right torque box. I understand this is an approved jack point but it seems the metal thickness used here is not up to the task. This damage was previously there as the car was bought used. The LH torque box is intact, but I find even it deforms a little using a flat jack pad with rubber. Has anyone else found this on their Malibu? I wish this area had been much more reinforced.

I'll try to add photos in the next day or so.

I've got it also on my '09 LS. Jack with bigger pad would probably less the denting but it's underneath so I'm not worried about it .
