2004 Automatic headlights.

Hi we just got my motherinlaws 04 Malibu.my question is when the headlight switch is on auto shouldn't the headlights turn off during daylight.ours stays on.thanks for any feed back.

Hi, your thread was moved from the section for help with the website itself. You should get more results here.

It's not uncommon for the light sensor to suffer issues, such as being worn out or a wire has become disconnected. You might also try reading the "fretting corrosion" thread in the Gen7 section. It relates to any car with a computer in it.

Or is there a chance its just you drls staying on...day time running lights. Thats normal aint it?
