Damn Ohio's state tint law! Why cant they be like other states with the 35 in the front. I will definitely look out for not putting the reflective tint on bro, dont wanna mess with that. So we shall see...I will definitely let ya know how the tinting goes, I will keep ya posted.

Yeah honestly i would say go for 35... and i looked around different state's tint laws and it seems like 35 on front and 20 on back is pretty common way to do... so i think it'll be alright... as long as it's not reflective because i know my friend who is a cop told me that he hates the reflective tints because at night when he flashes the flashlight at the window... it bounces back to him and it blinds him and he said it's pretty dangerous for him because it gives the driver an opportunity to do something such as harming him or escape from him... I think it'll be better if it's not reflective at all just to be nice to cops... lol they are human after all... Like you told me that cops are nice there so i think it won't hurt you at all if you go 35 on front... most stock tints are like that... I would say go for it dude...

35 sounds good for the rear window itself, would you honestly feel okay if it were your car and tinting 35 on the front sides if the law requires 50? I mean that would be the way to go if I didnt want a big contrast, and I want it dark because I dont think 50 will do much for me in the front compared to what it has now. Cops where I live usually arent too bad, I mean I have never been pulled over however I have only been driving with my license for say 20 months. I can comfortable say I see a cop 1 out of every 3 times I am in town, I live in a rural area and town is 10 minutes away and I work in town but I never see cops in the specific area where I live. Youre wanting me to lie to the cops if I get pulled over? That made me chuckle, that probably not a good idea, any cop with common sense should know that with a tint as dark as a 35 in the front isnt stock hah. I will ask again would you honestly advise me doing 35 in the front, as I said before the cops are nice out here..

An autobody technician you say...that must be why there is a pic of you in your profile painting your car. Must be great to be able to paint your car for just the price of paint assuming no labor and you just did the body work yourself. Yeah I mean I don't know alot about tinting and I cannot picture how the contrast between 50 front and 20 back would be. I think I may just go with 20 in the back since there is no law for the back sides, depends if I want the completely blacked out glass on the sides in the back.

it will be too much of a contrast in my opinion if you do 50 on front and 20 on rear.... go ahead and do 35 and 20... as long as it's not reflective like i said.... but yeah its up to you... And i just recalled that working with cars (i am auto body technician) The factory cars that comes with tints are usually at stock level; 35 on front, 20 on rear sides and sometimes it varies on rear window... most of the time it's 20... and few times it's 35... so i think it'll be safe to do that... just tell cops that it's stock tints... lol

20 might be little too dark for rear window 35 would be perfect... 50 on front window? that's too crazy... and i just checked the Ohio tinting law... it says front sides have to be 50%, and for rear sides and rear window... doesn't matter... seriously you can get 5% on rears and get 50% on front, but it won't look really good... I think you could get 35% on front, it won't hurt... as long as it's not reflective. Here's the link where you can check with their tint laws... i still think 50% is ridiculous!

If 50 is the best I can do in the front sides I still would like 20 on the rear sides because I feel that is comfortable and not too dark and maybe like 35 on the rear you think 20 would be too dark for the rear window? Also would a 50 in the front side to 20 on the back side be too much of a contrast in your opinion?
I will use your car as a reference.

Yeah very psyched I am getting the hang of things around here ha. And yeah I honor your opinion, and it makes sense. If I go too dark in the back, 5 or 10, you know the stigma Ill immediately be given, being pulled over because cops will think somethings going on if its dark in there. But yeah 20 is probably safe and as dark as I should go in the back anything else look suspicious and way to dark. Like you said it would get kind of hard to see out the back windows if I got them too dark these new Malibus are already hard to see out of as it is =[, not like my old Buick. You are saying 35 on the front sides, although the guy at the shop said 50 was the best you can do in Ohio without being illegal, he may be wrong because he isnt the window tint guy he was just a service guy.

Awesome... Finally it works... Well IMO about that tints; i have 35% on front sides and 20% on rear sides... and 35% on rear window (i need to replace rear window because its messed up ) which is legal and it looks great on my car. So I would recommend go at minimum legal level because you don't want cops to be on your butt all of the time if you have illegal tints... (heard tickets are that expensive and ain't worth it) I think your car with that 35 on front side and 20 on rear side and 35 on rear window will look as great as you want it to look... Trust me that tint looks so dark for me already! I am glad I don't any lower than that because it will be difficult to look through the window while you drive, especially at night!!!! But hey it's my opinion. For yourself... you gotta to decide for yoursel, go what i say or go by your own... doesn't matter really... but for legal-wise, go what i say because i know no one likes getting pulled over and getting ticket for illegal tints!
