Started having intermittent issues with the blower fan during this past cooling season. Basically it would work as long as you didn't switch it to heat as we sometimes do in the mountains. The heat would work fine, it was just the AC. Now I have no blower fan in heat or cooling. Was told by a "mechanic" to replace the AC heater blower fan resistor. That changed nothing. One thing to note, when the system is on when you push the AC button the AC clutch does engage. Any ideas? I will be testing the blower motor when I get home, but a motor works or doesn't.... I have never heard of one working during heat but not cooling.

Turn it on High and tap the blower motor from the bottom. If it turns on or starts to squeal, it's the motor.

Otherwise, unplug the blower and test for voltage at the connector, AND test for a good ground.
