Hello! I'm new here and am on the lookout for an 08 or 09 Malibu 2LT. I've found a few I"m interested in and am going to be looking at them this weekend. I've test driven one and fell in love with it! Anyway, I just had a few questions about the interior. How well does the leathertte/suede hold up? Also, I noticed a lot of the interior was plastic-y. My concern with this is scratches. How durable is it? Thanks so much and I appreciate any and all feedback from you all!

I have 16k+ on my 2LT suede interior and it looks like new. No problems whatsoever. As for the 'plasticky' interior - no problems there either....I have the Black Suede and Black dash as I was not a big fan of the light grey interior...the one thing about the black is with the big front window - the interior gets really hot during the summer - I bought one of those sunshades that keeps it a little cooler.

I like both the light gray and the black interior. I figured with the dark it would be hotter inside. Good to know that it is holding up well. Thanks so much!

I've had my Malibu just about 2 years now and the interior still looks great! The suede has stood the test of time as well as the leather, with a little cleaning every couple of months they have held up fine, the plastics in the interior have also turned to be very durable with only minor scuffs down in the footwells.
