Only with my foot on the floor. :) Other than that runs pretty well on slick roads.

Ours does fine unless you are dragging in deep snow.

Doing fine with it here in upstate NY. We got about a foot of snow over the weekend, and it was only about 10 degrees most of the time.

Don't know about the stock tires, but with snow tires I get around just fine.

I have my stock firestones, which are about wore out, and havent had any problems going in the snow. Just depends on your road conditions, etc. If i didnt have traction control, I think I would be in trouble.

I used the stock firestones last winter since they were brand new and I definitely regretted that. I live in SW Ontario and with the lake-effect snow it wasn't very fun.

Now with snow tires this year and it handles great

Drove home Thursday the 7th in 3" of snow. Of course the main roads were plowed and brined (salt slurry) so they were just wet. Driving to work that morning before the plows were out in force, the roads were slippery but navigable. I have the Badyear Eagle LS2 tires with 11,500 miles on them. Still have plenty of tread, but I've learned to shy away from any hanky panky when there's any wetness on the roads as they start to lose traction quickly in those conditions. We don't get much snow here in Kentucky so I don't need to dedicate any money to snow tires. If I lived farther north, like when I was in PA, I would get them for sure.

I'm going to experiment with TC and ESC off and on to see which I like better in the snow. If there's anything worth sharing I will. But for now I leave it engaged and I get around just fine. But like I said, there ain't a lot to get around in very often, either.

I've been alright so far in Chicago with ~4" of unplowed snow on the ground with the stock LS2's(which are terrible tires IMO). I'm definitely going to invest in some winters for next season if I don't trade it in for a Yukon.

I turn traction control off a lot in the snow and just use the paddle shifters for 3rd gear starts since the trans drops to 1st every time you roll to a stop. To much torque in the low rpm's in 1st-2nd, which causes the wheels to break loose even on dry pavement!

Recently though, I have been impressed by stabilitrack when I drove home from Wisconsin in a decent amount of snow, I had no problems going 50-60 on highways with 1-2 inches of snow accumulating. Stabilitrack did a great job of braking, adjusting the power to the front wheels and limiting my revs. Extremely impressed.

A lot depends on which tires your car has. The original tires on my 08 are pretty much useless in snow. Instead of spending the $700 to have good snow tires I just leave the Bu in the garage and drive my Tahoe which has 4 snow tires on it. Once the roads are clear of snow I drive the Bu again.

Not a TON of snow here in central Ohio, but my '09 LTZ hasn't given me any problems at all with it's stock tires.

My 09 LTZ here in the Chicago area has done pretty well so far.TC & ESC are awesome.I drive 100 miles to work and home everyday so in heavy snow I drive my Tundra.Nothing beats 4x4.Gas milage sucks though.$18.50 a day in the truck so thank god it doesn't snow every day.

Mine is an 09. I have trouble in my driveway when it's not plowed. Tires just spin. I turn off the TC and gun it up! The only major issue I have in the snow is large amounts of Snow and ice that builds up in the Front wheel wells. It is driving me nuts!
