A lot depends on which tires your car has. The original tires on my 08 are pretty much useless in snow. Instead of spending the $700 to have good snow tires I just leave the Bu in the garage and drive my Tahoe which has 4 snow tires on it. Once the roads are clear of snow I drive the Bu again.
